I was born 1967 in Middletown, PA.  I grew up there and graduated from Middletown High School.  I started working right away and have been with a large fiberglass bathtub/whirlpool manufacturer since 1988.  I've done many things there, and am currently the Environmental, Health and Safety Manager for 2 of the facilities, one in PA and one in VA.  I also am certified in Lean Manufacturing and manage efforts in that area.
I have a wife Stephanie since 1999 and our son Jacob, who was born in 2001. We live in Lancaster County PA in a quiet rural setting that is about 700ft asl.
My interest in radio began as a kid while watching my dad talk to friends on the CB.  I found amateur radio while tuning around on my shortwave radio and knew that's what I wanted to do.  I was first licensed in spring 2003 as KB3JHX.  That summer I took general and morse code and applied for W3NAP (why, I don't know).  That fall, I went to take the extra exam and let

On the bands, most of my activity is on VHF/UHF cw, ssb and digital.  I do, however, get on HF once in a while but not nearly as much.
My other hobbies include fishing, hunting, classic cars and collecting antique kerosene lanterns.
